Seven-day acceptance

Evidence created before the acceptance deadline is the only leverage you have. Work the list in order.

Do not modify proprietary safety or locomotion firmware

Inspect read-only. Back up before any change. Motion tests require two people, a marked area, and a rehearsed soft emergency stop. Batteries are inspected before charging, never after damage.

Day 1

Photograph sealed cartons criticalAll sides, labels and seals, before opening. Damage claims depend on this.
Inspect cartons for damageCrush, puncture, water marks, tilt/shock indicators.
Record all serial numbersRobot, batteries, charger, remote. Photograph each plate.
Confirm K1 Pro configuration criticalVerify the variant matches the order, not a lower configuration.

Day 2

Confirm AGX Orin 32GB criticalVerify from the device's own reported hardware, not from the box label.
Inspect main and spare 5Ah batteriesNo swelling, dents, heat marks. Both present.
Charge and log both batteriesRecord charge time and final voltage for each.
Inventory charger, remote, accessoriesReconcile line by line against the order and packing list.

Day 3

Software inventory, read-only criticalFirmware, JetPack, Ubuntu, ROS distribution, running services. Change nothing.
Full backup before any change criticalImage or back up the writable system and document the restore path.

Day 4

Network inspectionInterfaces, addresses, open services. Read-only, no reconfiguration yet.
Supported standing test criticalTwo people. Robot supported. Watch for abnormal joint noise or heat.

Day 5

Supported walking testShort walk strictly inside the marked area, second person on the stop.
Packaged action playbackRun one vendor-packaged action and observe smoothness.
Soft emergency stop test criticalVerify from three operator positions. Must work every time.

Day 6

DAMP / protection mode testEnter and exit protection mode with the robot supported.
Thermal and acoustic baselineRecord joint temperatures and normal sound after ten minutes standing.

Day 7

Compile acceptance evidence packPhotos, serials, versions, test results, backup location — one folder.
File issue / exception report criticalSend before the acceptance deadline. Late reports lose remedies.

Exception report

Anything missing, damaged, or not matching the order goes into a written exception report sent before the acceptance deadline. Attach the sealed-carton photos and serial numbers.
